Reviewing and Improving the Plan
A good plan changes slowly, based on evidence. Here is a weekly, monthly and quarterly review routine and the rules for making changes without chasing noise.
A review rhythm
| When | Review | Typical questions |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | 5 minutes | Did I follow the plan? Are all trades logged? |
| Weekly | 30 minutes | Which trades broke rules? What is the market doing? Is the watchlist current? |
| Monthly | 1 hour | Metrics by setup and market condition; adherence rate; drawdown |
| Quarterly | 2 hours | Is any rule consistently hurting results? What one change should I test? |
Short, regular reviews beat an occasional deep dive.
